To drive excellence, they now have an exciting and immediate opening for a System Test Analyst
  
System Test Analyst responsibilities:  

• Evaluate camera functionalities, recording capabilities, and wireless performance under various conditions to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Test software across different network conditions and browsers, ensuring compatibility and performance.
• Assess camera hardware and software together, focusing on file uploads, firmware compatibility, and overall user experience.
• Conduct load and stress tests with multiple cameras and users to identify system breaking points.
• Work with customers to simulate real-life environments and measure system performance under various loads.
• Assist Service Delivery and Operations Teams in troubleshooting system issues, documenting and reporting defects.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and product design reviews, providing input on requirements, performance, and potential problems.
• Support the Software Development and Testing team with both new feature and regression testing to ensure continuous improvement.

System Test Analyst skills, traits, and experience:  

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in system testing or a similar role, including defining test scenarios, cases, and executing tests.
• Proficiency in various software testing methodologies and types, with a focus on browser compatibility and system performance testing.
• Ability to comprehend technical specifications and use this knowledge to inform testing processes.
• Experience in building and running automated load testing test suites.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development environments, including working knowledge of test management software and SQL.
• Solid understanding of networking (memory, bandwidths, CPUs, etc.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively, with experience in maintaining bug backlogs using TFS, Jira, or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for reporting build health and collaborating with team members.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and a problem-solving mindset.
