This diversified global technology company is a market leading provider of solutions that help customers in Financial Services, Education, Government, Energy and more. Their offerings include a powerful payments platform and comprehensive suite of business management tools that enables customers to analyze, streamline and improve business processes whilst connecting and empowering teams to collaborate.
  
Covering both public and private sectors they have developed an enviable account base and as a result of strong financial growth, they have an immediate need to appoint their first Senior Account Executive to manage and build a region encompassing all of New Zealand.
  
This position can be based anywhere in NZ.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Develop industry relationships and identify market opportunities
  • Identify and communicate competitive advantages and market growth opportunities
  • Build a strong network of prospective customers that aligns with the Sales Strategy
  • Research market pricing and recommend pricing strategies based on competitive strengths and market positioning
  • Conduct win/loss analysis to determine areas of opportunity and improvement
  • Co-ordinate with key stakeholders to conduct seminars and presentations for prospective clients
  • Develop and implement territory sales strategies
  • Ultimately, build new revenue throughout NZ.  
Key Criteria
  • 5+ years technology sales experience
  • Preferably, previous experience selling to and/or demonstrable knowledge of the national Education sector.
  • A passion for technology and how it impacts and drives business.
  • Solution based selling skills
  • The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proven record of sales achievements
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Networking and relationship-building skills
  • Problem-solving and strong attention to detail
