About the role

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Business Development Representative. As a Business Development Representative, your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
  
Your day-to-day tasks will include inside Outbound prospecting and lead generation from marketing and sales campaigns. As such we are looking for a team member with great communication and negotiation skills.
  
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience generating leads and meeting sales quotas within the Logistics industry.

This role is based in Sydney, NSW.
  
Duties and responsibilities
  • Outbound prospecting
  • Contact potential customers via cold calling and emailing
  • Set up meetings and calls between prospects and sales executives
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Daily and weekly reporting to the Sales Manager and General Manager
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce etc.
  • Experience in inside sales and lead generation
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Logistics industry experience
  • Experience in the technology industry is a plus
Nice to have
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
