Head of Engineering responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the architecture of our core systems
  • Lead by example—reviewing code, debugging, and prototyping where needed
  • Drive engineering excellence through smart, scalable processes
  • Translate vision into an actionable, effective roadmap
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and leadership
  • Align engineering with business goals and product outcomes
  • Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team through technical guidance
  • Set the bar for development quality, performance, and velocity
Head of Engineering requirements:
  • Proven experience scaling B2B SaaS, automation, or AI-driven platforms
  • Deep knowledge of backend architecture and modern system design
  • Still enjoys coding—has shipped real-world production systems
  • Strategic thinker who understands how tech decisions impact business outcomes
  • Fluent in async workflows and remote-first collaboration
  • Skilled at simplifying complex technical topics for broader teams
  • Strong leadership presence and a natural motivator
  • Lives and breathes technical clarity, precision, and velocity
