They currently have an immediate and exciting opening for a Business Development Manager to be based on either the South Coast or the Northeast of England.

They currently have an immediate and exciting opening for a Business Development Manager to be based on either the South Coast or the Northeast of England.
Business Development Manager responsibilities:
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the environmental services sector.
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals and bids for potential clients, demonstrating our expertise and value proposition.
- Networking: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our services and expand our client base.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., technical, marketing) to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in environmental services, chemicals, waste management, etc.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passion for environmental issues and sustainability.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A generous base salary of 45-55
- An uncapped OTE of 65-75
