Pocklington, Yorkshire (Hybrid – 2 days p/w onsite)
55-65k Base, 70-80k OTE + Great Benefits

Pre-Sales Technical Consultant responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop transformation opportunities across hardware, software, and cloud
  • Deliver solution proposals around technologies like VMware, Dell, and Microsoft
  • Act as a subject matter expert in EUC, infrastructure, and hybrid-cloud platforms
  • Drive adoption of complementary technologies across sales and solution offerings
  • Maintain deep awareness of compute, virtualisation, and cloud market trends
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, vendors, and internal sales teams
  • Utilise vendor partnerships to maximise commercial impact and client outcomes
  • Contribute to enablement events, internal training, and go-to-market strategy
Pre-Sales Technical Consultant skills, traits, and experience:  
  • 5+ years in IT solution sales or consulting, ideally with hybrid/cloud transformation focus
  • Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to simplify complex tech value
  • Strong technical understanding of storage, compute, virtualisation, and cloud
  • Experience positioning managed services alongside core solution offerings
  • Familiarity with software licensing and ecosystem integrations
  • Self-motivated, commercially aware, and goal-driven
  • Resilient, collaborative, and committed to delivering innovation
  • Comfortable presenting and influencing across multiple stakeholder levels
