Machine Learning Engineer – Agentic Workflows
Hybrid – San Francisco, CA
$250,000–$350,000 + Excellent Benefits

We’re working with a global technology innovator driving the future of AI automation and enterprise data intelligence. Their cloud-native platform powers some of the world’s most data-driven organizations, enabling smarter, faster, and more autonomous decision-making across industries.

As a Machine Learning Engineer – Agentic Workflows, you’ll design, build, and deploy intelligent, multi-agent systems that automate complex processes and enhance real-world decision-making. You’ll work hands-on with LLMs, vector databases, and workflow orchestration to develop autonomous systems that transform how businesses operate.

In this role, you will:
  • Build and fine-tune AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or Graph-based systems.
  • Implement semantic search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector database integrations.
  • Apply prompt engineering and optimization to improve model reasoning and task accuracy.
  • Develop real-world agentic use cases, including:
    • o Workflow Orchestration: Automating multi-step business and data processes.
    • o Code Generation: Creating and debugging code autonomously (e.g., Copilot-style assistants).
    • o Data Analysis: Querying and transforming large-scale data across distributed sources.
    • o Personalized AI Systems: Building intelligent recommendation and decision-support agents.
    • o Autonomous Decisioning: Deploying agents capable of real-time, domain-specific choices.
  • Design, test, and deploy scalable microservices and APIs in modern cloud environments (AWS, Kubernetes).
You’ll bring:
  • Hands-on experience building and tuning LLM-powered agents.
  • Strong Python engineering skills and familiarity with cloud-native architectures.
  • Practical experience with RAG, vector databases, and microservice-based development.
  • A creative, builder-oriented mindset — able to take experimental ideas to production.
Bonus points for:
  • Background in code generation, semantic extraction, or knowledge graphs.
  • Experience with Spark, Neo4j, or vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
  • Compiler development or ML optimization for low-latency production systems.
  • Open-source AI/ML contributions (e.g., Hugging Face, PyTorch).
Why join?

You’ll have the chance to work at the intersection of AI research and real-world impact — developing next-generation agentic systems that automate decision-making and intelligence at scale. Expect a world-class benefits package, flexible working, meaningful ownership of your work, and the opportunity to shape the future of enterprise AI.
