As the Technical Support Engineer you will be in contact with both end users and partners to handle technical support cases for the Oceania region. Besides having a technical foundation, you need to be able to ensure the highest quality standards of customer care.

- Provide advanced phone, web portal system, and chat support to end-users, resellers/partners, and distributors.
- Work with a case driven system with the responsibility of closing customer cases.
- Maintain a professional dialogue with customers throughout the resolution of a support case.
- Assist with both after sales and pre-sales support.
- Build technical knowledge and contribute to developing the support function within the team
- Collaborate with the global technical support team to share ideas and information
- Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar Technical Support position
- Experience in one or more of the areas: network protocols, surveillance camera systems, servers and storage systems, access control system, client/server OS and application management.
- Good understanding of computing and networking.
- Sound knowledge of basic computer and hardware technology.
- Excellent communication skills.
