As the Technical Support Engineer you will be in contact with both end users and partners to handle technical support cases for the Oceania region. Besides having a technical foundation, you need to be able to ensure the highest quality standards of customer care.

What you will do:
  • Provide advanced phone, web portal system, and chat support to end-users, resellers/partners, and distributors.
  • Work with a case driven system with the responsibility of closing customer cases.
  • Maintain a professional dialogue with customers throughout the resolution of a support case.
  • Assist with both after sales and pre-sales support.
  • Build technical knowledge and contribute to developing the support function within the team
  • Collaborate with the global technical support team to share ideas and information
Who are we looking for:
  • Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar Technical Support position
  • Experience in one or more of the areas: network protocols, surveillance camera systems, servers and storage systems, access control system, client/server OS and application management.
  • Good understanding of computing and networking.
  • Sound knowledge of basic computer and hardware technology.
  • Excellent communication skills.
