Certus Recruitment Group is partnering with a global digital and design-led organisation to hire a Full Stack Engineer with a passion for AI-driven product development.
  
This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, creative technology, and applied AI—perfect for developers who enjoy experimenting, prototyping, and building high-impact digital tools.
  
The team is also open to strong Front End Developers and Backend Developers who meet the technical criteria and can demonstrate relevant portfolio work.
  
Important: A portfolio showcasing prototypes, AI tools, experiments, or creative technical work is required. Candidates without a portfolio will not be considered.
  
Responsibilities  

• Develop and maintain modern web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Build and integrate AI/ML features across front-end and back-end systems.
• Create intelligent tools such as generative design features, recommendation engines, and data-driven utilities.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage cloud applications within AWS or Azure.
• Implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps processes.
• Work within agile, multidisciplinary teams alongside designers, engineers, and product stakeholders.
• Participate in a structured interview and portfolio review process with global digital leadership.

Requirements
  
Core Technical Skills

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience
• (or equivalent experience as a specialist Front End or Backend Developer).
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, ES6/TypeScript, and responsive UI development.
• Experience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Backend development experience with Python (FastAPI/Flask), .NET Core, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and Git workflows.
• Solid grasp of scalable code patterns, maintainability, and engineering best practice.

AI/ML Integration

• Experience or strong interest in OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar ecosystems.
• Portfolio demonstrating AI prototypes, creative tools, or experimental builds (mandatory).
• Exposure to generative design, intelligent search, context-aware systems, or semantic tooling is beneficial.

Mindset & Collaboration

• Curious, experimental, and research-oriented, with a passion for exploring emerging technologies.
• Strong communication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Comfortable working autonomously as well as within agile, cross-functional teams.
• Interest in design technology, built environments, or human-centred digital systems is a plus.
